Opia Games

OPIA n. the ambiguous intensity of looking someone in the eye, which can feel simultaneously invasive and vulnerable.

We're Opia Games, a small french indie studio based in Angoulême, in the south-west of France!

Our goal is to create interesting games that feel innovative: we focus on creating singleplayer experiences that are designed to immerse players in rich and captivating worlds.

With that in mind, we launched our first game The Lone Blade in 2023, and our second game Sydless in 2026. Both rely on their own really unique mechanic (try them and you'll see what I mean!)

Since then, we've been working on Unknown at This Address, a horror game set in a small 1970s Normandy village, where you play as a local kid delivering the morning mail by bike after all communications went dark. We're really excited for this one, so keep an ear out because we have interesting stuff coming up wink, wink!
